Hale Interchange Project
Greetings from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT),
WisDOT is continuing a resurfacing and improvement project along I-41/43/894 through the Hale Interchange, between Lincoln Avenue and 84th Street, in Milwaukee County, with completion in late 2026. As part of that work, extended lane closures along southbound WIS 100 are scheduled to take place.
Beginning Tuesday, May 26:
- Southbound WIS 100 (S 108th Street) is scheduled to have long-term lane reductions, between Layton Avenue and Edgerton Avenue, for approximately one month for bridge work.
- Lane closures will occur in phases, beginning with single-lane closures for approximately 10 days, followed by double-lane closures for approximately one week, and finishing with single-lane closures for the remainder of the work.
Please see the attached project brief for more information.
